Rappel Kit Includes: 

• 40' of 10mm Sterling Safety Pro With Sewn Tight Eye. 
• 40' 2mm Accessory Cord Gear Hoist/Pull Down Rope. Small Carabiners or other attachment methods can be tied on using this rope.
• Two HotForge ScrewGate Carabiners (Depending on current availability, the provided carabiners are subject to change. If a different carabiner, other than Black Diamond HotForge's, are provided with your order, they will be of similar size, color, strength, and price.)
• 8mm Steel Triangle Quick Link (quick links may be switched to oval quick links depending on current availability. Both styles work the same way). 
• One 24" 6mm TRC Sewn Eye to Eye connector

This kit is similar to our other One Stick/Rappel Kits as it does come with a commonly found friction hitch and uses a belay device (Figure 8) to rappel with. The Prusik then acts as your "Back up or Safety" during rappelling. 

Warning: Climbing above ground level is inherently dangerous and should only be done so after proper training and practice at ground level. One Stick Kits/Rappel Ropes should be used in conjunction with proper safety equipment and backup hitches when climbing above ground level. Safety systems should be in place to ensure two points of contact to the tree at all times. Use of this product above ground level is done so at your own risk.
