8mm Prusik Loop

Hang Free's 8mm Prusik Loop works great with 10mm ropes and larger. We use Sterling 8mm Black Accessory Cord as the rope material for this Prusik Loop. 

Sterling’s larger cords have a very durable sheath and high MBS which makes them great for prusik cords, cordelettes, ice threads, and lightweight low-stretch fixing and hauling “taglines."  

Length is measured when the loop is open and stretched out flat. For 10mm diameter ropes, we suggest a 14” loop size. This gives a 5.5” to 6” inch accessible loop for clipping in.
